The idea is to start training dentists who want to start venturing into implant dentistry and follow a continuing education model.
8:00-9:00am –Welcome & registration.
9:00-9:30am – Introduction of lecturers – Dr. Mauro Gebran and Dr. Gustavo De Oliveira. Summary of the program.
9:30am-12:00pm – Dr. Mauro Gebran – Lecture – Introduction to Implant Dentistry, Bone Types and Osteointegration, Incision Techniques, Implant ideal position and placement, immediate placement and immediate loading post-extraction, suture techniques. Complications.
12:00-1:00pm – Lunch
1:00-3:00pm – Dr. Gustavo De Oliveira – Implant planning and Digital workflow.
3:00-4:30pm – Workshop – Participants to get familiar with the surgical kit, prosthetic kit and prosthetic parts.
4:30-5:00pm – Questions and end of day 1.
8:30-09:00am – Attendees arrival.
9:00-11:30am – Hands on – Models or Cadaver – Osteotomy and Implant Placement
11:30am-12:00pm – Questions
12:00-1:00pm – Lunch
1:00-4:00pm – Dr. Gustavo De Oliveira – Live surgery – Single implant placement and fabrication of immediate crown utilizing digital workflow.
4:00-5:00pm – Final questions & certificates.
Be introduced to implant dentistry at the highest level with the Brazilian perspective.
Have a very good comprehension of the foundations of implant dentistry. From bone types to Immediate loading.
Understand the implant/bone integration with one of the most advanced implant brands on the market.
Be able to observe a step-by-step live procedure and practice on models and cadavers.

Dr. Gustavo De Oliveira is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He obtained his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Rio de Janeiro State University in 1996 and started his first private practice the following year. After relocating to New York City in 2004, Dr. De Oliveira attended a Full-Mouth Rehabilitation at New York University, where he subsequently worked for another two years as a surgical assistant. During this time, he was exposed to the highest level of implant and cosmetic dentistry and was able to observe and help some of the most respected dentists in the world.
Dr. De Oliveira achieved his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and shortly thereafter moved back to the Northeast to complete his general practice residency (GPR) program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He also went through extensive coursework at the world-renowned Pankey Institute, completed the Implant Mini-Residency at the Dental Implant Learning Center at Englewood Dental with Dr. John Minichetti, and has more than 500 hours of continuing education credits.
He practiced in Livingston, NJ, before moving to beautiful Orlando, FL, where his family resides. In 2015, Dr. De Oliveira acquired his current practice from legendary Dr. Michael Vallillo when he decided to retire after 40 years delivering the highest level of restorative dentistry to the Orlando area patients. Dr. G then started Lake Lucerne Lifestyle Dentistry where he applies all his Full Mouth Rehabilitation expertise to a fully digital dental workflow, utilizing the latest technology on the market.
Dr. De Oliveira has a passion for education and loves sharing his knowledge with those who are looking to improve their skills.

Dr. Mauro Gebran obtained his dental degree (DDS) in 1992 at Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana, Brazil.
He obtained his Certificate in Periodontology from the Brazilian Dental Association in 1995, a Master in Science degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in 1997, a Master in Science degree in Implantology from the Faculdade Sao Leopoldo Mandic in Sao Paulo in 2004, and a PHD in Health Science from the Medical School of Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana, in 2010.
Dr. Gebran is actively involved in humanitarian efforts worldwide offering his professional services to areas such as the United States, Domenican Republic, Jamaica Cuba and El Salvador, in wich he has personally overseen and directed placement of over 20.000 dental implants. He is a Scientific Consultant of Neodent. He has been a faculty member in three different private universities since 1993 and until 2010, when he decided to open his own dental school STUDIA in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil.
