Bone Grafting – Utilizing Growth Factors (CGF/PRF)

Course objectives

Learn and review bone grafting fundamentals, socket preservation, incision and flap designs, suturing techniques, and more along with many hands-on exercises.

Learn how to perform venipuncture and basic anatomy.

Utilize blood to make fibrin clot and fibrin glue.

Learn how to make and handle AFG (autologous Fibrin Glue) “sticky bone” for various bone grafting situations.

Learn what CGF is and what it consists of.

How you can incorporate CGF into your practice

Learn full spectrum of clinical applications of CGF/PRF including surgical flap closures, socket preservation, ridge augmentation, sinus lift, immediate and flapless implant placement

INSTRUCTOR

Prof. Dr. Jedediah V. Huss

Jedediah V. Huss received his doctorate in dental surgery from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He currently holds the status of Diplomate with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Huss has published multiple articles related to dental implants. Dr. Huss is a KOL for multiple companies, and member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.

He also has won many awards, such as Top Instructor for Implants in 2020 and 2021, International Congress of Oral Implantologists Diplomate in 2018, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists Fellow & Master in 2015.
